Overview
This program provides healthcare workers with essential knowledge about the importance, scheduling, and administration of vaccines in healthcare settings. It covers vaccine-preventable diseases, safety protocols, and strategies for encouraging patient compliance. Through healthcare-specific examples, participants will learn how immunizations protect not only patients but also staff, visitors, and the broader community.
  1. Vaccine-Preventable Diseases: Overview of diseases such as influenza, hepatitis, measles, and COVID-19 that can be prevented through proper vaccination.
  2. Staff & Patient Protection: How immunizations reduce transmission risk within healthcare facilities, protecting vulnerable populations and the workforce.
