Diabetes Management in Healthcare

Overview
This program equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide effective diabetes care and prevention strategies. It covers risk factors, early detection, patient education, and evidence-based management of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Participants learn how to integrate best practices into patient care plans, support lifestyle changes, and monitor for complications to improve long-term outcomes.
  1. Early Detection & Risk Factors: Recognize key risk indicators for diabetes in diverse patient populations and understand the importance of timely screening.
  2. Patient Education & Engagement: Techniques for counseling patients on nutrition, exercise, medication adherence, and self-monitoring.
  3. Clinical Management & Complications: Implementing protocols for glycemic control, medication management, and preventing or managing complications such as neuropathy, retinopathy, and cardiovascular disease.
