Bloodborne
Pathogen Safety:
An Interactive Training Program

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens poses a significant risk in many workplaces, particularly in healthcare settings. Our program is designed to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to handle bloodborne pathogen risks effectively. To accomplish this goal, our program provides a series of interactive scenarios that help the user develop critical thinking capabilities regarding safe blood borne pathogen safety. This program aligns with OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, providing essential yet engaging education to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Included in the program are key concepts like what bloodborne pathogens are and how they are transmitted. The user will also learn how to identify potential sources of bloodborne pathogen exposure, strategies to prevent exposure, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. Users of the program will also learn the appropriate steps to take in the event of an exposure incident, including reporting, post-exposure evaluation, and follow-up.
